Communications Manager, Reputation Management for The Nature Conservancy (TNC)

This is a mid-senior level role, check ad for requirements.

You will: 

  • Assist in the project management aspects of emerging issues and challenges that have the potential to affect TNC’s reputation – internally and externally. This may require collaboration across globally dispersed teams, including Media Relations, Legal, HR, Executive Leadership, Development, Conservation, Internal Communications, Science, Social Media and Marketing and Communications.
  • Assist with the development of presentations, talking points, key messages, Q&As, external statements, graphics, memos, and other written materials as needed.
  • Manages processes for the Senior Advisor, GMC, to engage with internal and external stakeholders
  • Provide reports and analysis on key issues
  • Provide administrative support functions – management of organization’s “risk and crisis library,” scheduling meetings, creating Power Point presentations, taking and compiling notes and materials, etc.
  • May supervise professional and/or administrative staff.
  • The nature of the work also requires an ability and eagerness to juggle multiple responsibilities and projects under tight timeframes, inside and outside traditional work hours.
