This is an exciting opportunity to help shape how we engage with the Sonos Communities. This highly visible and influential role will afford the candidate the opportunity to work cross-functionally on a global scale with leaders from across the company. The candidate will help build the future architecture and community engagement needed to bring Sonos’ presence to Reddit while maintaining the exclusive atmosphere of the Sonos Communities.
What You’ll Do
- Establish Sonos’ presence on Reddit.com
- Work with cross-functional teams to define engagement principles
- Engage and build relationships within the r/sonos subreddit and Sonos Communities
- Plan and assist with online events (Sonos Community & Reddit.com)
- Procure and analyze data from a variety of sources to measure success and areas for improvement
- Keep up to date with daily trends across Reddit and social media as a whole
- Keep up to date with advances in enterprise social media and community philosophies
- Navigate and resolve high-impact, high-visible situations and provide clear direction (crisis management) in conjunction with other stakeholder organizations
- Set priorities and oversee multiple projects simultaneously

Basic Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience working with branded support communities/forums/social media
- Experience in working with the Reddit Community
- Excellent written communication skills
- Familiarity with various enterprise community and/or social media aggregation platforms
- Excellent interpersonal skills and comfortable with working across departments
- Detail oriented with a high level of accuracy
Preferred Qualifications:
- Understanding of Reddiquette and Social Media/Internet slang.
- Proven track record of developing mutually respectful stakeholder partnerships.
- Excellent decision-making skills; ability to negotiate and balance decisions and priorities across needs of several functional departments.
- Demonstrated ability to make timely decisions in the face of risk and uncertainty.
- Experience using advanced analytical, planning, organization and time management skills to effectively execute project plans and budgets.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to use communication skills to enhance interpersonal and team effectiveness; able to succinctly and accurately communicate to various levels of management and employees.
- Experience developing and managing policies and procedures that affect global processes and operations, while remaining cognizant of regional and cultural differences.
- Demonstrated capacity for strategic thinking, project planning, and project management.
- Ability to act with the highest professionalism, judgment, and decision-making, while balancing the interests of multiple stakeholders.
