Description
The position of Content Operations Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the seamless delivery of video content to Metafy’s audience. As COS, you will be responsible for managing video content throughout the content life-cycle. You will work closely with our team and creators to ensure all video files are correctly formatted and meet technical specifications.
You will also be tasked with monitoring the upload process to ensure smooth and efficient operation, troubleshooting any technical issues, and performing quality control checks to ensure that all video content meets our standards. The ideal candidate for this position is highly detail-oriented, technically proficient, and continuously strives to improve and streamline the process.
3-month contract with the opportunity for full-time. Expected to work 20 to 30 hours a week.
Requirements
- Responsible for uploading and organizing video content on the Metafy platform
- Ensure that all video files are correctly formatted and meet technical specifications.
- Work closely with the Content team and creators to prioritize and schedule video uploads
- Monitor the upload process to ensure smooth and efficient operation
- Troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise during the ingestion process
- Perform quality control checks to ensure that all video content is of high quality and meets the streaming service’s standards
- Keep track of uploaded content and maintain accurate records
- Continuously improve and streamline the content lifecycle to maximize efficiency and productivity
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies related to content ingestion.
- Previous experience with Photoshop or other image editing software is preferred for creating video thumbnails.
- Experience with Content Management Systems is preferred.
