About the Role:
As an Associate, SEO, you are a key member of the Housecall Pro Marketing team and are responsible for managing specific SEO activities such as content strategy, link building and keyword strategy to increase rankings on all major search networks and in app stores. To achieve your goals, you will develop strategies to rapidly execute, iterate, and optimize performance of the growth marketing website experience.
You are creative, ambitious, and ready to apply your base-level knowledge of SEO in a fast-paced, startup company for the service industry. This role sits within the Marketing SEO Team and is focused on executing website strategies to improve the company’s websites in organic search and app store results. You are driven to learn and continuously improve, with a base-level knowledge of SEO, experience using analytics tools such as SEMRush and Google Search Console, and Google Drive Workspace.
What you do each day:
- Execute on-page optimizations, such as meta content, alt attributes, internal linking, and content updates in WordPress
- Input new content into WordPress, manage and update existing pages as needed
- Use data to identify, prioritize, and assist in creating new SEO content
- Coordinate with design to support other marketing team needs regarding assets
- Implement and optimize content and internal link structure with the direction of the SEO Leads
- Prepare reports to track, analyze and improve website performance in SERPs
- Conduct research and provide opportunity analysis to SEO team
- Correct website errors by monitoring internal comm channels for incidents
