In this role you’ll define and develop Ziply Fiber’s owned/organic social media program, drive its execution and community management (with our customer care team), and partner with our field Community Development Managers to develop a local community engagement strategy. You’ll create a cohesive social media and online community strategy based on the company’s brand promise, company and product value proposition, customer data, marketing calendar, market and competitive trends. You will be responsible for evangelizing social and community engagement across the business to ensure social execution is integrated with PR, internal communications, demand generation, campaign extensions, customer service and community engagements.

• Grow audiences on social platforms including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Reddit, Instagram and YouTube. Provide strategies for social platform use and expansion.
• Find unique and creative ways to bridge social media communities with local community engagements
• Establish, monitor and report on social KPIs (ex. sentiment) to grow the Ziply Fiber brand and reputation; keep teams aligned and accountable
• Work cross-functionally to present a cohesive and compelling brand experience to our target prospects to build awareness, engagement, and sales
• Plan and implement social media content strategy, campaigns and sustainment programs that support company initiatives and increase engagement
• Maintain a strategic social media content calendar that is supportive of the Editorial Calendar
• Drive creative ideas that support our brand voice while adapting it to different platforms when creating platform-specific content including text posts, videos, and graphics
• Make decisions and solve problems within time constraints Community management
• Create and implement social media platform training to help social care representatives engage our community authentically in the Ziply Fiber brand voice
• Establish community management guidelines as a responsive member of the community to ensure it’s a good brand experience for all members
• Work with analytics including social listening tools to regularly evaluate and improve our social media and local community management effectiveness through a deep understanding of our customer and their preferences
• Share relevant social media and community building trends and best practices with the broader organization
Education & Experience:
• 4+ years of experience in social media, marketing, community building and community management
• Excellent written, communication and presentation skills that can be adapted for audiences at all levels across the organization
• Experience creating/writing/editing social content and aligning messaging for distinct audiences and platforms
• Experience planning and leading online community initiatives to drive brand advocacy and engagement
• SEO experience to leveraging video content to maximize opportunities on YouTube
• Extensive knowledge of best practices for content authoring and community management across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, Reddit and YouTube
• Familiarity with sentiment tracking and reputation management through Sprinklr, Qualtrics, Google Reviews and Yelp or similar
• Ability to extract insights from multiple data sources and translate them into actionable and measurable strategies and plans designed to build a lasting brand
• Strong ability to challenge the status quo and pursue new ways of thought
• Highly self-motivated and will thrive in ambiguity, in an environment that requires an ability to learn and adapt quickly
$72,250 to $118,750 annually DOE
