About the role
This role will work with the Online Communities team to provide support to adults who support young people aged 12-25 years.
- Provide support to adults who support young people by using your lived experience to share, learn, and support one-another within our Adults Supporting Young People Peer Support Group chats.
- Be a part of a team of peer workers from across Australia
- Be trained in peer support principles and online moderation skills to create a safe space for adults and young people to connect and share with each other.
- Our Adults Supporting Young People peer support group chats occur on Monday evenings

Who we’re looking for
- Supportive adults who have experience supporting young people to help headspaces online community and users via our online peer support group chats
- A friendly person to help moderate group chats and speak about your lived experience. This includes Monitoring messages from young people, reinforcing positive messages, and sharing your own experiences to support others
- Someone who understands current issues in mental health for young people
