THE POSITION:
Looking for a temporary Social Media Manager – Casino to join our social team, who will strategize, implement, and deliver Casino brand content across multiple social media channels.
THE Role:
- Identify and curate social media content that aligns with FanDuel’s social media goals, working closely with Social Media Editor and Director to implement overall social strategy
- Ensure all editorial calendars, assets and content are timely and up to date, planning, scheduling, proofreading and properly executing content across all social channels
- Research and keep a pulse on the ever-evolving social and digital world, what content and platforms are relevant and how FanDuel can be impactful in the space
- Assist with cross-functional marketing campaigns, including games, contests and giveaways, ensuring best practices are met and messaging/assets are properly executed on owned social channels
- Track KPI’s of FanDuel’s social media channels with metrics and provide recommendations for optimization
- Attend FanDuel events as needed, ensuring complete social coverage in a professional manner
What they are looking for:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of previous editorial and/or social media experience in the casino, gambling, or sports spaces (working in social media, sports, design or journalism) preferred
- Experience working across all current social media platforms (Including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, Twitter)
- Proficiency in Graphic Design, Animation, Video Editing; Fluency in Photoshop is a plus
- Must be willing to work nights, weekends, holidays if necessary, as well as being on call for urgent PR matters’
- Strong grammar skills and meticulous attention to detail
- Extensive knowledge of internet Casino culture (passion for sports betting and fantasy sports is preferred)
- Ability to create engaging social media copy with minimal guidance and multitask in real time
